hypochondriac in the making?

Since discovering that we could get hundreds of videos streamed on our TV through Netflix, Vivi has developed a love for the movie Madeline which is "just like my book mommy." Much to my delight, she has taken an interest in human anatomy, stating with urgency that we need to visit the hospital to check her appendix. Like Ms. Clavell, Vivi has taken to quickly sitting upright, holding her index finger in the air and announcing "something-is-not-right!" Not to be discouraged from visiting the hospital, she reassures me that we only need to stay at the hospital for a little bit. "We'll just stop by mommy-not long. We just need to see it- OTAY?"

safety first

Our new routine involves putting Vivi to bed, watching TV and falling asleep on the couch. The other night, having fallen asleep watching the Grammy's, I awoke to find Vivi dancing in front of the TV at 11pm. As she loves to bounce up and down and proclaim "My name is Viviana and I like to dance" repeat, repeat....I was not entirely surprised to find her putting on a show. I did have to rub my eyes however to be sure that I wasn't dreaming when I saw she was sporting her ladybug bicycle safety helmet. Lady Gaga watch out!
